First Spring 2020 on the Farm Field Trip-Part 2

More photos from our trip through the fields down to the pond on our 50th anniversary! Wish the sun had been shining!

Little branch that runs down through the field that is really pretty during wet weather!

Beavers have been busy during the winter, working the trees lining the pond. They have also dammed up the overflow drainage ditch leading out of the pond. This tree is hanging by a thread, ready to fall over into the pond. We have no cattle anymore and are not able to keep things up, so everything on the place is going down and/or dying, just like hubby and me.

The global pandemic of the coronavirus that started at the end of February has us all on edge, as we continue to stay home to try to help keep it from spreading. Thankful that we live in a rural area, where we can isolate and still get outside and ride around on the farm in our side by side! Just dread when we do have no choice but to go for groceries or meds. We now have two confirmed cases in our county. How many unconfirmed cases are walking around? Scary!

Pray that God has mercy on us all and stops the virus soon!
