I have tons of ideas in my head that I can't wait to bring to life on one hand; on the other hand I have tons of half finished projects that I need to finish before I'm no longer able to.
It's a puzzle all right!
Study sketch of a face with a Sabilo water soluble pencil and brush pen water with a pinkish filter
Quirky doodle sketch from which a cat emerged in Stabilo pencil and water brush pen. For some reason it looked Siamese to me. Possibly a work in progress. We'll see!
Quirky doodle sketch from which these two emerged in Stabilo pencil and,
I tried a vignette filter over it and made a copy. I see their sleeves as bird wings in a possible work in progress to be painted.
After I added water with a brush pen
This one was inspired by Connie Solaris' drawings and paintings. She does a lot of these in black and white, gray scale, and full on color. Of course, she's much better at it than I am, but I thought I'd give it a try. Very relaxing and fun, like zen! You can check out Connie's work, as well as her classes, both on and offline here! www.conniesolera.com
By the way, I've taken some of Connie's classes, and I have learned so much from her. She taught me how to paint fearless (one of her classes), and I will always be grateful to her for that. I am totally fearless about starting paintings and other projects! Now, if I could just learn to finish them fearlessly...
I have done a couple more sketches since these, plus I'm doing a small slow stitching, or stitch meditation, fabric collage, but I'll save those for another post!
Happy creating!
