The sketches for the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. So far, so good!
The 22nd: This little hump-backed bear was an antique reproduction when I bought him. I loved him and his little pastel striped sweater. He is articulated, and he is an antique now himself! Still love him! Black Zig Writer pen.
Also the 23rd: We made a quick trip out of town after company left this evening. I couldn't resist doing a sketch of two women talking outside the Sav-a-lot grocery story while I waited on Jim in the car. It was cold, they both had on sweatshirts and jeans. The one on the left is smoking, and the other has her arms crossed for warmth and is holding a large purse.
I didn't have my sketching bag with me, so I improvised with a Lil Caesar's Pizza napkin from the glove box and a gel pen from my purse. A napkin is not easy to sketch on. Let that be a lesson to me to never leave home without my sketchbook!
The 24th: a second quicker sketch of the same pony with a black gel pen, without the spots
That's it for now! It's late evening, and I still have a sketch and a stitch meditation to do for today!
Hope you're enjoying my way less than perfect sketches and stitches! I sure am enjoying the playtime! It's good for my soul!
Stay safe and well!
