Magpie Sketches

This is the only sketch I've done in the last week. I used a charcoal pencil on the textured side of the paper and a couple of Pinterest magpie photos for reference.

Windows installed a bunch of updates and knocked my scanner out and messed up my printer to the point I had to un-install it and try re-installing it. I failed at re-installing it, because I'm not tech savvy enough to understand what the directions were talking about. So frustrating! Anyway, for now I don't have a printer or scanner at all, and I had to use my camera to make a photo, which didn't turn out all that great.

I moved my little desk that I use in front of my recliner to the other room a couple of weeks ago, because of company, and I haven't brought it back yet, so it's not as handy for me to pick up my sketchbook when I sit down to rest. Plus, I've been making potholders, which is another post.

I can't seem to stay off the computer long enough to do anything anymore. I'm always having to look up something, order something, print something, or try to figure out or fix something on it. I got so frustrated trying to re-install my printer yesterday that I just un-installed it again and went for a walk. 

There is a disc to install it that came with it, but it has become buried somewhere in my work room. I looked for it when I needed my scanner to start working again, but couldn't find it. I may have to do another search! Or I've been wanting a new printer. This may be the time...
