Doodle Town

I've been doing more writing the past few weeks than art, plus we've had an unusual amount of company, and now we have septic tank problems, after having frozen water pipe problems a few weeks ago.

I did, however, do some playing with doodles and my Kuretake watercolors, Zig marker, and gel pens one evening while I was resting. Doodle Town came out of my imagination to reside on a journal page. I could, and may later, do some more to it, but for now it is what it is, and it was very fun to construct.

Somehow, I managed to crop about a fourth of an inch off the bottom that I didn't notice before I posted. There should be a bit more of the buildings across the bottom. And I always forget to leave an edge around the sides to make room for a mat, should I ever want to frame one of my pages. I would try to be more careful if I wasn't just playing!

Playing is good for the soul and the mind! Fun stuff!
