Excess Paint Abstract and the Wrong Face

 Another sketchbook page where I cleaned excess paint off the knife. I had already painted the background grey.

I decided to draw a face over the paint. The photo turned out a bit fuzzy, but I didn't like the face anyway and took an alcohol pad and wiped most of the paint off the whole page. I will use it to clean off my brush, or knife, another time!

After I drew this face, I looked back at the photo before I drew it, and saw a much better face already in the paint. Can you see her? In the white paint swipe from the right top corner to the left bottom corner there's already two dark eyes, a nose, and red lips.

 Wish I had seen it before I ruined it with the marker face! Oh, well. Another adventure; another lesson learned!
