I've actually filled a couple of sketchbook pages with doodling this week! Kind of a meditative thing, just mindlessly letting my gel pen go where it wanted, filling the space while watching TV. So relaxing! I also played with filters a little. Fun stuff!
I sketched in the ovals with a pencil, then a black gel pen one night, sketched the tree the next night, then went back and filled in the ovals with patterns. Contemplated adding some watercolor, but I guess they are done!
I have so many creative things that I'm wanting to do today that it's overwhelming. Maybe my "want to" is coming back? This has been a strange week, and I haven't even bothered to get dressed for most of it. I'm grateful for every day, but I'll be glad when things return to normal, whatever that is.
One of the two bags of potholder loops I ordered came today, so I'll be able to finish the potholder still on the loom. I can add the one loop, get it off the loom, and call it done! Yay! Then I have a few more to make.
Amazon had a bunch of free books for Kindle, so I added five free ones and one 99 cent book to my Kindle stash to be read.
Never mind the housework. It feels so good to read good books and indulge in creative stuff! The house does get to me sometimes though, especially when company pops in, but I just don't have the energy to do it all anymore...
Don't take your health for granted, and the next best thing to creating things yourself is to enjoy the creativity of others!
Be well, safe, happy, and creative in whatever you love doing!
