I sketched another figure illustration for practice and couldn't figure out how she wound up so short, because I was using the same measurements I used on the first ones, so I sketched her three more times and wound up with quadruplets. I used the same proportion guide for them (and different pens) and I still haven't figured out what happened. I do notice that I'm getting some of the heads a bit too small for the body though. That could be because I'm holding my sketchbook flat on my little lap desk, with the head pointing away from me. Do you think? :) Anyway, moving on to warm up #2!
