My creative slump continues, partly because I don't have the energy to make room to create in my work space, and partly because of health problems. I am doing some practice sketching along, and a tiny bit of stitching, which I'm thankful for, but what I really want to do is work in my journals and paint. My rocker recliner is not conducive to that, so I'm currently trying to practice sketch while holding my sketchbook in one hand, my pencil in the other, and my laptop on my lap. Not easy, but, at least I'm still trying! 😀
These llama sketches are from the weekend and the girl today. The llamas are sketched with ebony pencil, stabilo pencil, and a black gel pen from original photos taken at a drive thru animal park on our road trip in 2019. The girl is sketched in charcoal pencil from a paused image on TV.
A few minutes a day creating is better than no minutes a day! Good for my soul!
Stay safe, well, and creative!
