Yesterday's Girlie Sketches

My muse may still be on hiatus, for the most part, but at least I'm thinking about creating now, and have gone as far as picking up an Ebony pencil and actually using it in my sketchbook! This sketchbook is an Arteza, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", 110 lb, for wet and dry media, rough on one side and smooth on the other, and it has 60 actual pages (120 both sides).

I paused the TV yesterday and did these sketches quickly for practice. The middle one is on the smooth side, the other two are on the rough sides. I know there are glaring mistakes, but I wasn't going for perfection or likenesses. Just relaxed freehand sketching...

This is my first Arteza sketch book, and I think I'm going to like it!

Be safe, well, happy, and creative!
